Synergy Autostart on Ubuntu

Synergy is a great program to control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse. It is much more useful when configured to autostart on your client machines.

Ubuntu 11.10 Autostart:

$ emacs /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

Append the following to the end of the file:

greeter-setup-script=/usr/bin/synergyc 192.168.10.1

*Note: insert your own IP address or computer name.

Ubuntu 11.10 GNOME:

Simply use the Startup Applications Program to add the synergyc [IP ADDRESS] command. Found in Applications -> Other ->Startup Applications.
